Friedrichshafen, Germany – Fresh from the win from the World Travel Awards naming The Philippines as Asia’s Leading Dive Destination, the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines will be returning to InterDive Friedrichshafen 2023 on 21-24 September 2023 in Messe Friedrichshafen, Germany.
InterDive Friedrichshafen 2023 will feature over 150 exhibitors offering the latest dive equipment and technologies, as well as highlighting dive destinations from all over the world. In previous participation with small delegations, the negotiated sales yielded close to PHP27,000,000 with almost 200 actual bookings. This year, TPB is optimistic that with a bigger delegation and armed with recognitions from the World Travel Awards and Diving, Resort and Travel Show Malaysia as a top diving destination, we will be able to generate more interest from international consumers.
“The World Travel Awards recently named the Philippines as the leading dive destination for the fifth consecutive year this 2023, and we are extremely eager to showcase the best of our 7,641 islands. We can’t wait to welcome more divers to our country and witness our rich marine life and world-class destinations,” said TPB Chief Operating Officer Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles.
This year, the delegation shall be composed of nine (9) dive resorts and operators namely, Amun Ini Resort and Spa in Bohol, Atmosphere Resorts and Spa in Dauin, Negros Oriental, Dive Society in Dauin, Negros Oriental, Dugong Dive Center in Coron, Palawan, Easy Diving Beach Resort in Sipalay, Negros Oriental, and Sulu Sea, Island Divers in Leyte, Salaya Beach Houses in Negros Oriental, Thresher Shark Divers in Malapasua, Cebu, and Whispering Palms Resort in Sipaway, Negros Occidental.
InterDive Friedrichshafen is among the most anticipated dive shows in the world. Now in its 10th year, the show was conceptualized and organized by divers for divers to provide options direct to the community, more so the affluent tri-border region of Southern Germany, adjacent to Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Austria.
