The 4th Investments Promotion Agencies’ (IPA) Gender and Development (GAD) Forum took place last October 07-08, 2024. The Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) provided sponsorship for the forum, that was arranged and hosted by the Board of Investments (BOI). Participating agencies exchanged best practices and initiatives in mainstreaming GAD components in their agency mandates and goals.

Initiatives such as the IPA GAD Forum allows agencies to generate innovative ideas for adoption in their individual projects. This process helps agencies to benchmark on GAD mechanisms and build collaborative and inclusive networks with different agencies that share the goal to promote gender equality and social inclusion.

Next year, the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) is expected to host the 5th IPA GAD Forum, in collaboration with the Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC). During this event, the aforementioned agencies will convene once again to engage in discussions pertaining to policy integration and consultations on organizational matters.
