In observance of National Women’s Month, the TPB Gender and Development Focal Point System-Technical Working Group (GFPS-TWG) attended the 2nd Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG) GAD Conference, “WE GADTHER 2GETHER, WE GATHER TO EMPOWER,” on March 26, 2025, at Landbank Plaza Hall. TPB representatives, Ms. Crinezza Veil L. Mendoza (Corporate Planning and Business Development) and Ms. Jemary Lizbeth D. Cangco (Finance), attended sessions on gender equality and inclusive workplaces.
The conference provided a platform for sharing best practices in Gender and Development (GAD), emphasizing the role of GFPS in policy development, capacity building, and evaluation. Key presentations included a talk on integrating Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) into organizational culture and policies,
as well as the keynote address by the Landbank of the Philippines (LBP) President and CEO, Ms. Ma. Lynette V. Ortiz, on empowering women in leadership and breaking systemic barriers in the workplace, highlighting LBP’s gender mainstreaming practices.
TPB’s attendance reaffirms its commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable work environment by integrating key insights from the conference into its gender advocacy efforts.
