The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines is set to convene the country’s meetings, incentive travel, conventions, and exhibitions (MICE) community through MICECONversations 2026, a platform that represents the continuing evolution of the Philippine MICE Conference (MICECON), the country’s premier gathering for the business events industry.

Happening on September 7, 2026, in Pasay City, Metro Manila, the event will gather approximately 200 leaders, decision-makers, and stakeholders from across the Philippine MICE ecosystem.

Anchored on the theme “Business Unusual: Turning Uncertainty into Opportunity,” MICECONversations brings industry leaders together to address the forces reshaping the MICE sector, from economic pressures and evolving market demands to rapid technological change and intensifying regional competition. The platform is designed to generate actionable insights on key industry priorities, including measuring the impact of business events, strengthening destination competitiveness, converting opportunities into business, harnessing AI and emerging technologies, developing future-ready talent, and fostering partnerships that will drive sustainable growth and shape the future of Philippine MICE.

“The future of Philippine MICE will not be shaped by uncertainty, but by how we respond to it,” said TPB Chief Operating Officer Marga Nograles. “MICECONversations is where ideas become action. By bringing together leaders from across the MICE ecosystem, we aim to transform insights into strategies, opportunities into business, and partnerships into outcomes that will shape the next chapter of Philippine MICE.”

Leading the conversations are respected global and local industry leaders, executives, and experts, including Amelia Roziman, Chief Consultant of LegacyMade; Roshan Nandwani, Head of Commercial and Marketing at Ayala Land Hospitality; and Faith Cheong Michaels, Business Development and Partnerships Manager of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) – Asia Pacific. Together with other industry leaders, they will explore topics, such as building a definitive MICE impact scorecard, leveraging artificial intelligence, and converting prospects into business for a future-ready MICE industry.
